About this Targeted Statutory Consultation
Dogger Bank D carried out statutory consultation on the Preliminary Environmental Information Report (PEIR) in 2025. Since then, we’ve identified a number of amendments which introduce additional areas of land to the PEIR Onshore Development Area. These amendments reflect minor adjustments to support the design development, as well as construction and operational requirements.
As these amendments involve new or different land interests, we are required under Section 42 of the Planning Act 2008 to carry out further consultation. This gives affected parties the opportunity to review the amendments and provide their feedback.
This consultation focuses specifically on the proposed minor amendments to the PEIR Onshore Development Area at this point in time and does not revisit the wider project proposals presented during the 2025 Statutory Consultation.
Consulting with Affected Parties
This consultation is aimed at those with an interest in, or who may be affected by, the proposed minor amendments to the PEIR Onshore Development Area, including affected landowners and occupiers, relevant local authorities and prescribed consultees with responsibilities for the onshore elements of the project.
We welcome your views and feedback to help us shape our final proposals before submission of the DCO application to the Planning Inspectorate in June 2027.
